((serious headcanon tho; like in my last drabble, Jimmy’s often the one to fix up Eaglebones because he doesn’t flinch when he sets broken bones and stuff. at some point, he asks what would make it go by easier, and bones admits that when he was a kid, his mother would coo at and sing to him while she set his bones to put him at ease as best she could. Naturally, Jimmy picks up the habit, but promises to only do it when the others aren’t around.))

idk for the majority of the times i rp’d as bones on the minecraft server, i always managed to piss off and get attacked by dogs

i also have this other headcanon that eaglebones has a unique bloodtype so they have to be super careful if he gets hurt and needs blood
Had a headcanon I wanna share- The lower Jimmy’s battery gets, the more he begins to imitate habits of sleepy humans. He’ll yawn, lose track of things, and if his battery gets low enough he’ll go into sleep mode. This rarely happens, because he charges every night, and probably has some form of portable charger thing.

The first option, and the more happier one: one of their parents has bird-like parts or in fact is a bird. A magical bird very likely, like a thunderbird or harpy, who mated with a human parent to birth the two.
Or, the second option: It’s a family curse. Before Eaglebones and Eagleclaw were born, a parent of the family was cursed by some sort of mystic for their own showboating and pride, cursed to have their children to carry the features of one of the more prideful animals-the Eagle. Thus, figuring that the children would be unable to escape this destiny, they were named after their conditions: Eaglebones and Eagleclaw.

Back before he became such a jerk, Eagleclaw learned to use his left hand so Eaglebones wouldn’t feel so bad about being left-handed. The rift between him and his brother led him to drop the skill.
